ACUGA

Australian Catholic University Greek Association
About Us
The Australian Catholic University Greek Association was established and formed in 2013 by Nastassja Sidiropoulos at the St. Patricks campus. The following year it became affiliated to the National Union of Greek Australian Students (NUGAS). By its second year ACUGA had doubled its memberships and become a popular university club.
The aim of ACUGA is to provide and encourage social activities and cultural events, which will unite Greek students and non-Greek students both within and outside the University. The aim of these activities is to spread Hellenism and Greek tradition allowing students of all nationalities to learn and partake in culturally enriched events.
Throughout the academic year the club conducts souvlaki days, cake days, cultural days, and sports tournaments against the other Greek clubs from the other universities. The club also provides an outlet for students to hear about and participate in events held by NUGAS (National Union of Greek Australian Students).
